Kevin Costner's Horizon: An American Saga Trilogy Gets Exciting Update
Production for the third chapter in Kevin Costner's Western drama film series, Horizon: An American Saga, saddles up after temporarily being put to pasture due to the Hollywood strikes. Chapter 3 filming starts weeks ahead of Chapter 1's anticipated debut.
Per Instagram, Costner confirmed Chapter 3 recently began shooting, saying he was "back on the ground working," as he's shown giving instructions to his cast. He also expressed how much it's "hard to believe" Chapter 1 is almost in theaters, telling fans he "hopes you'll go and see what we've put together for you." Chapter 3 production was initially penciled in to begin last year before being halted due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. The production received an encouraging update in May when it was confirmed Horizon were seeking extras for a shoot in Durango, Colorado. Chapter 3 filming began last month in St. George, Utah.
