Bill Shorten attempts to shrug off scrutiny over $620,000 speech writer cost
Government Services Minister Bill Shorten has attempted to shrug off scrutiny over the cost of a speech writer.
A senate estimates hearing has been told Mr Shorten hired a speech writer on a two-year contract worth $620,000.
The NDIS Minister telling the Nine Network he's at arms length when it comes to his personal speech writer and he doesn't write the contracts.
