KFC Australia is bringing back the Double - but this time it comes with a sweet, breakfast-style twist.
The new waffle double will launch Australia-wide come June 11 - and just like its predecessors it's expected to be a huge hit.
The one-piece-feast features two pieces of the Colonel's chicken as 'buns', like every version of the Double before it.
But what makes the new Double different is the Smokey Maple Mayo and fluffy waffle which has been paired with bacon to finish it off.
The team at KFC are also hard launching the Original Double, now featuring the new Original Crispy fillets, and are bringing back the crowd pleasing Zinger Double.

Tami Cunningham, CMO at KFC Australia revealed the Double remains one of the company's top-requested menu items.
'We’re sure fans will be rushing in to get their hands on the new Waffle Double and Original Double, alongside the returning Zinger Double. This triple Double threat won’t be hanging around forever though, so mark the date in the calendar and get amongst it,' she said.
The Double hasn't been seen nation-wide since 2021.
Since 2011 it has reappeared on the menu with crazy twists - thrilling KFC customers - popular versions include the Zinger Mozzarella Double to the Pizza Double and Zinger Tower Double.
The new Double range will be available until July 8 at participating stores.
