Brisbane: Man charged after allegedly chasing women posing for a group photo with a tree branch on King George Square
A man has been charged after allegedly chasing a group of women with a tree branch.
The 42-year-old man was caught on CCTV approaching a dozen women who were posing for a photo on King George Square in Brisbane's CBD.
All of the women ran towards the City Hall building as the photographer stayed behind to unsuccessfully fend the man off.

Police charged the man with wilful damage to property and going armed to cause fear
Police arrived at the scene to find that the women had locked themselves inside a building for safety.
The man was charged with wilful damage to property on Adelaide Street and going armed to cause fear.
Brisbane Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner described footage of the incident as 'disturbing'.
The incident was captured by the city's CCTV network which has recently added another 240 cameras to help police combat youth crime.
This brings the total number of cameras in the Brisbane City Council area up to 3,500.
The cameras are constantly monitored and have assisted in the prosecution of 1,595 offences in the last 12 months.
