Fortnite is Getting New Mod Types
- Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 will introduce vehicle mods, a long-awaited addition for fans of the game.
- Players have grown accustomed to weapon mods; now they can experiment with exciting new vehicle modifications.
- The rumored collaboration with Mad Max hints at a thrilling Season 3 packed with car mods and game-changing features.
Chapter 5 Season 3's focus on cars becomes clear with the revelation that vehicle mods will be added to Fortnite. In November 2023, Fortnite had a transitory period; during this time, players got to experience Season OG between the end of Chapter 4 and the start of Chapter 5. When the current chapter began, major changes were made, and several mechanics were introduced. While players were sad to see Reality Augments go, they were happy with some of the new additions, namely weapon mods.
While weapon mods aren't a new concept to players who already dabble in shooting games, others weren't familiar with this concept and took longer to become accustomed to it. Nevertheless, weapons mods have been part of Fortnite since December, so most players now know which ones are best suited for each type of weapon. However, it seems that soon enough, gamers will have to take some time to become accustomed to a new type of mod in Fortnite.
