Jets' OTAs Roster Moves: Cut QB, Sign Tight End
Sometimes a quarterback suits a team, and others ...
Sorry, but we had too. The New York Jets announced Wednesday during OTAs at Florham Park that they are releasing undrafted free-agent quarterback Colby Suits, and replacing him on their 90-man roster with tight end Kevin Foelsch.

The moves leave the Jets with quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers, Tyrod Taylor, rookie draft pick Jordan Travis and free agent Andrew Peasley on the roster. That group combined for only four snaps in a Jets uniform last season, with Rodgers getting injured early, Taylor spending 2023 with the Giants and Travis (Florida State) and Peasley (Wyoming) in college.
Suits played for Houston Christian last season after four years at Louisiana-Monroe.
Foelsch (6-4, 250) is an undrafted free agent from the University of New Haven. He signed with the Carolina Panthers on May 10 but was cut three days later.
He played five seasons for New Haven, finishing his career with 73 receptions for 660 yards and 16 touchdowns.
