Emma Hayes walk in, chat with media and walk out shots
Cheers. Thanks. Thanks. Thank you. I don't actually know. Apparently you've just met my mum outside. She's lovely. There you go. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. The first team to do 5 back-to-back. Pep can do 4, can't he? Let's make that clear. Not the first, not the first team in England to do it for five times even. All right. I'm already emotional. Emma's last press conference. He'd like to go first. Emma, Tom, we all kind of want to say to you, really just put three things first being. Thank you for the time giving us. Thanks, Tom. Always, always good luck. Thanks. Don't lie. Thanks, Tom. Oh, oh, thank you so much, lovely guys. I appreciate that. I appreciate it very much. And do you want a photo, Do you want to go round and I get photo? Sure, sure. You look quite cute. That's it. That's it. That's it. I feel like Harriet now. All right, Can everybody, can everyone see me? My son said to me when he came over to me, that's absolutely ridiculous. All right, that's it. Everyone's in. Can everyone see me say 123? Up the chills, Up the chills. I'll send that to you guys. Thank you very much a singer. Lydia, can I say thank you to you as well? Honestly, like leaving the army and trying to get into women's football team has been a God said. Absolute God said you hit the ground. I can't believe so. I'm so unhappy about six of his small friends, all my friends coming home with our family and barbecuing. Since you've done it's 6, 30 in the morning definitely get into Orient's football and my first sort of public interview with you and you've challenged me. I think it made me a lot better and I just wanted to say thank you. It's been it's been a real honour and I appreciate the show. Appreciate it. I do like, listen, I, I, I know what you need to do, what you gotta do. I've said this year, him and I have spoken a fair bit. And then this period, do you feel like we get trusted? Is it raining? Yeah, it's raining. Because I'm conscious when we ask someone else to do it. When someone else, When someone else. When someone else, what do you think's happening in the women's game? Oh, I think that's probably like part of my own business on the site, so. But I can't change it. I'm not like I just had to learn to become just switch off from it, like take it away from me. But I think the players are really, really struggling with it. They're really struggling with the world of social media, especially Love and dad. Yeah, they're really struggling with it though. They, like I said with Becky Spencer. I know Becky since you were kids, she's like there and all over the place. I said why shouldn't have you seen the abuse of Hanford kicking them all to someone? I said this is what I say to them when I say it to myself. Listen, we know we've arrived. If that's the case, we've arrived. That is that much of A talking point. But I don't think we've gone professional. Whatever. I don't think the difference for the men to the woman's game. Boys have come through their academies with lots of player care. So you imagine if you're. I don't know, Lauren James, OK, very expensive. Maybe less so. It's older, but even it impacts, it impacts them. They don't have to play care around them and they don't. They haven't gone through academies where they've been drilled how to be and how to behave and how to say things. So they they it's so, so tough for them And then obviously fans then jump on the bandwagon whether it's on this plane it's finished or you know runs in the family, the James family. That's a lot it doesn't. I always think I don't read it but the the difficulty is what do we do. Like we we all condition now to pick up our telephones. So like me I'm not going on Twitter anymore. I don't a little bit of Instagram and scroll past those things. You can't avoid some things and it can take that one situation and it can trigger something. And I know you have to be resilient enough, but I feel like that's probably the one thing maybe I worry about. I hope clubs invest a little more in player care for not just performance psychology care. You don't realise that fragiologist generation is they're really, really fragile. Really. Like more than I've been coaching 26 years and this generation is the most fragile. Alright, see you guys at some point. Maybe Olympic gold medal final.
