Night Court Loses Another Main Character Ahead of Season 3
NBC's Night Court revival series is getting another change with its main cast after two seasons. Following one major character's exit at the end of Season 1, it's now been revealed that India de Beaufort has departed the series.
In the first two seasons, India de Beaufort played the role of district attorney Olivia Moore. Following the renewal for Season 3, de Beaufort shared on Instagram that she will not be returning. Including an image of herself with a Night Court script, she shared a message to express her gratitude for her time spent on the show while wishing the whole team well with Season 3. With that noted, de Beaufort confirmed that her own time on Night Court was through, though she didn't explain what led to her departure.

De Beaufort's departure follows a main character previously leaving after Season 1. In the first season, Kapil Talwalker played Neil, the original clerk for Judge Abby Stone (Melissa Rauch). He was gone after the first season and did not return for Season 2, opening the door for Nyambi Nyambi to join the cast. The series also stars John Larroquette, who reprises his role from the original series as Dan Fielding, along with Lacretta as Donna "Gurgs" Gurganous, the bailiff.
After spending some time on the bubble and sparking serious concerns with fans of a cancelation, Night Court was officially renewed for Season 3 on May 3. Previous episodes of the series are streaming on Peacock, and the show will return to NBC in Fall 2024.
