Man Utd vs Arsenal: Confirmed team news, injury latest, predicted lineups

Manchester United hope to have Bruno Fernandes and Scott McTominay available for their Premier League clash with Arsenal this afternoon.
Club captain Fernandes sat out of Monday’s heavy defeat at Crystal Palace, missing out through injury for the first time as a United player having been spotted wearing a protective cast on his wrist last week.
The Portugal international was back in training this week, along with McTominay who also missed the trip to south London.
Marcus Rashford is in contention to feature for the first time since limping off against Coventry City in the FA Cup semi-final.
Lisandro Martinez joined them back on the training pitch this week and while he is closing in on a return, Erik ten Hag will not call upon him this weekend.
Mason Mount meanwhile has suffered yet another injury setback, ruled out this weekend.
Problems at the back remain. Harry Maguire has joined the lengthy injury list and while there is hope he will be fit for the FA Cup final against Manchester City on 25 May, his Premier League season could be over.
Jonny Evans returned to fitness to partner Casemiro on that calamitous evening at Selhurst Park but ten Hag may have to rely on that pair once again this weekend.

Raphael Varane, Victor Lindelof, Willy Kambwala, Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw have also been among those injured. Shaw had been closing in on his return but after a minor setback, the FA Cup final is now a more realistic date for the England star.
Arsenal have had a clean bill of health in recent weeks but Mikel Arteta suggested on Friday both Bukayo Saka and Takehiro Tomiyasu were doubts for today’s clash.

Saka was on the receiving end of some crunching challenges in the win over Bournemouth on Saturday, suffering a nasty cut on his shin.
The England international, who still managed to play on until the 86th minute against the Cherries, was spotted in Arsenal training on Tuesday wearing some protective strapping over his left shin.
Tomiyasu meanwhile missed training early on in the week with Jurrien Timber also continuing to work his way back to full fitness having featured twice for the Under-21 side since returning from his ACL injury.
