Cole Palmer has let the tributes to outgoing Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino following his exit from the club.

Chelsea revealed on Tuesday evening that the Argentine would be leaving his role by mutual consent after one year in charge art Stamford Bridge.

He led the Blues to a sixth place finish and a return to Europe, but the two parties have agreed to part ways, with Chelsea now looking for their fourth manager of the Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali era.

While Pochettino at times struggled during his short reign at the London club, he also enjoyed plenty of positive moments, including helping Cole Palmer becoming one of the stars of the Premier League.

Arriving for £42.5million from Manchester City in the summer, Palmer went onto score 27 goals and pick up 15 assists in his debut season, also breaking into the England team.

He took to Instagram in the wake of the news breaking, posting a photo of himself hugging Pochettino with the caption: 'Gaffer, thank you for everything you have done for me & making my dreams come true. All the best.'

Palmer's form was arguably the biggest success of Pochettino's reign, with one Blues fan posting on X: 'Thank you Pochettino for getting us into Europe next season and getting the best out of Cole Palmer.'

Playing predominantly on the right of midfield for the 52-year-old but sometimes also featuring centrally, he finished runner-up to 27-goal Erling Haaland in the Golen Boot race, netting 22 goals.

Hi team-mate, Noni Madueke, was the first Chelsea player to break their silence on Pochettino's exit, taking to Instagram to post a picture of the pair together with the caption: 'Thank you...' accompanied by a blue heart emoji.

The 22-year-old broke into the Chelsea team towards the end of the season, starting the last nine games and scoring eight goals in total in the season.

Also among those to pay tributes were Marc Cucurella and Mykhailo Mudryk, who made 26 and 41 appearances respectively during the season.

Cucurella, who joined the Blues two years ago for £62million from Brighton, posted a photo of himself and Pochettino alongside three shocked face emojis.

He also wrote: 'Thanks for everything mister. Good luck for the future,' accompanied by a blue heart emoji.'

Mudryk, meanwhile, who had worked closely with Pochettino last year to help improve his confidence, wrote: 'Thank you, for everything.'

Noni Madueke was also among those to pay tribute, posting on his Instagram: 'Thank you'

Not all was rosy, however, with Malang Sarr 'liking' a post about Pochettino leaving the club

Not all appeared rosy from the Blues players, however, with forgotten man Malang Sarr liking the Blues' official post revealing Pochettino had left.

Sarr, 25, has one year remaining on his £100,000-per-week deal at the club but has been exiled from the first team entirely by Pochettino after being deemed surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge.

Earlier this year, The Athletic reported that Sarr no longer has a locker in the first-team building at Chelsea's Cobham training ground and gets changed to train with the Under 21s instead.

He has not been involved in matches for Under 21s and when they have games he trains alone or with other youth squads.
