Trinny Woodall puts on a glamorous display in a white lace midi dress and quirky sunglasses as she attends the Chelsea Flower Show

Trinny Woodall put on a glamorous display on Tuesday as she attended the Chelsea Flower Show.

The beauty entrepreneur, 60, looked nothing short of sensational in a white lace midi dress.

The stunning ensemble boasted a scoop neckline, padded shoulders, a floral lace pattern all over, and a tiered hem.

She further accessorised the look with a chunky gold multicoloured waist belt and wore a pair of floral circle-shaped sunglasses.

She added inches to her frame with a pair of floral-patterned platform heels and appeared in high spirits as she posed up a storm for the camera.

She was also joined by pal and British designer Penelope Chilvers, 60, who cut a stylish figure in a beige button-up midi dress.

She added inches to her frame with a pair of nude wedge heels and further accessorised with a layer of bracelets.

It comes after Trinny slammed her followers for leaving negative comments on one of her posts which left her 'shocked' and speechless.

Posting to her Instagram earlier this month, the businesswoman shared a video of herself trying to style a sheer co-ord from Zara to her 1.3 million followers.

Posing in some nude-coloured underwear, she then tried on different outfits in trying to style the pieces.

She said: 'I'm obsessed with trying to wear this, it's super sheer and I've always been scared of sheer.

'I've got some neutral underwear on so I am going to try it first with that and see how many different ways I can style it up.'

The post received thousands of comments shortly after she posted the video, with many negatively commenting on the outfit and her slender figure.

Hitting back at the comments, Trinny told people to unfollow her if they didn't like her content, saying she had been 'shocked' by the response.

She took to her Instagram to say: 'I got home last night from the office and read a lot of comments about yesterday's post, I'll put them into two categories.

'One is people who just said what are you wearing it doesn't suit you, which is fine because I want you to have an opinion about whether you like it or not, but it became quite personal.

'There was a little bit about my body and since I went into menopause at 45 and had a mum who wasn't particularly well when she was older, it has made me very determined to not let menopause defeat me and feel my strongest self.

'My mum had osteoporosis and didn’t exercise much when she was older and had a lack of mobility. She loved sugar and she also had vascular dementia and Alzheimer’s - I really want to look after my body so it can look after me.'

She added: 'So for all of those who made it about weight and how unrelatable you feel I am for you then move on because it doesn't make you happy.

'I have gone on a journey in the last few years where I really want to be well. I want to be fit, I want to be strong, I want to challenge the norm of what can happen during menopause and post.

During the event, Trinny ensured to get several stunning snaps with her pals (Pictured L-R Anais Gallagher, Gemma Sort-Chilvers, Anthea Turner, Paula Sutton, Butter Wakefield, Penelope, Trinny, Hazel Gardiner, Lisa Snowdon, and Ciinderella Balthazar)

'And I want my body to really look after me so I really look after it. So to see comments on my body, it's my choice what I do.'

Trinny continued: 'I found it really unkind yesterday and really unnecessary. And I usually don't say anything but I thought no I'm going to damn well say something.

'What is going on in your life that you feel the need to aggressively criticise people?. Because I know for me when I am in that situation and I would never do it in a public arena ever. But if I were doing that, it's because I'm full of fear on something.

'So I'm going to challenge those people to ask themselves why you feel comfortable doing that?'

She added: 'If you aren’t happy with my content just unfollow and move on to somebody who can make you happy.'

Trinny started her career in fashion in 1996 when she started writing a weekly style guide for The Telegraph called Ready to Wear.

In 2001 she and fashion journalist Susannah Constantine launched What Not to Wear on the BBC which ran for five series.

The pair would pick apart candidates' outfits and style and advise them on what would be best for them to wear based on their body type.

In 2006 they moved over to ITV and launched Trinny & Susannah Undress where they would give fashion makeovers to the public.

She now regularly appears on shows such as This Morning to offer styling advice.

In 2017, she launched her makeup line Trinny London and her book and podcast Fearless, where she interviews people who have overcome fears.
