England will face Pakistan in a four-match T20I series at home before travelling to the USA to begin their defence of the T20 World Cup, which they won under Jos Buttler’s leadership in 2022. The bilateral series between the two finalists of the 2022 edition of the T20 World Cup will be the last international series before the T20 World Cup 2024, which is set to feature 20 teams this year.
After playing a big role in Rajasthan Royals’s qualification to the IPL 2024 playoffs, Jos Buttler has returned to England and will lead the side in the four T20Is against Pakistan, which is led by Babar Azam. Pakistan has landed in England after winning a three-match T20I series against Ireland by a margin of 2-1 last week.
Both teams would like to come up with a big show in the upcoming matches to get the better of each other and send warnings to other teams ahead of the start of the T20 World Cup.

The T20I series between England and Pakistan will start on Wednesday (May 22) in Leeds, and the next three matches are scheduled to take place in Birmingham, Cardiff, and London on May 25, 28, and 30, respectively.
During the T20I series, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam will have a chance to create history and become the leading run scorer in the shortest format of the game.
