Need to look at 'policies' on international students to get us to 'where we need to be'
Shadow Immigration and Citizenship Minister Dan Tehan discusses the “policies” on international students imposed by the government.
“What we’re seeing at the moment is a lot of the international students that are here, at the moment, are going on and taking additional courses once they get here,” Mr Tehan told Sky News Australia.

“What we will look at is very closely that policy approach, which is leading to international students coming here, doing additional courses."
Mr Tehan said this issue means “they end up staying longer than was otherwise thought”.
“There is a number of policies that we will look at … which gets us to where we need to be.”
