The 2024 NFL schedule was released on Wednesday and it included all of the primetime games.
Some teams have more primetime games than others, including the New York Jets. They have six primetime games, which is tied for the most alongside the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers.
ProFootballTalk's Mike Florio isn't a fan of this and thinks the league is "comprising integrity" by giving some teams more primetime games over others.
"It should be a fair balance for all teams," Florio said, via Awful Announcing. "At some point it’s just going to be whatever we think every week is going to lead to the biggest ratings and the biggest numbers and the most money, that’s what we’re going to do and it’s unfair to certain teams to do that.”
The NFL wants to showcase Rodgers a lot more this season since he got hurt in Week One of last year. The Jets are hoping he can get them back to the playoffs for the first time in over a decade.
The 49ers and Cowboys will always have a lot of primetime games because of the market they have. They have two of the biggest fanbases in the world and people want to see them play on the biggest stage.
Even though some teams have more primetime games, that's the way the NFL seems to like it.
