Fans Demand NBA Take Action Against NBA Ref After Thunder-Mavs Game 6

NBA referee Tony Brothers has received his fair share of criticism over the years, and fans were extra heated over his officiating in Game 6 of the Mavs-Thunder second-round clincher for Dallas.
Fans on both sides of the aisle were outraged over his calls. He failed to overturn a late foul on Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, which allowed Dallas to win the game at the foul line. However, to be fair to Brothers, Gilgeous-Alexander clearly made contact with Mavericks forward P.J. Washington's elbow before Washington shot the ball.
Gilgeous-Alexander's block attempt moments before was negated with Washington maintaining possession during the sequence.
Afterward, Brothers explained the call, stating, "Had the ball been dislodged when Shai hit it, the contact afterwards would have been deemed marginal, which did not happen here."
Worse, he missed a blatant foul on Thunder guard Cason Wallace, who trucked Mavericks guard Luka Doncic earlier in the game off-the-ball, but the blatant foul didn't get a whistle.
"It’s seemingly every game with Tony Brothers. Aside from it being absolutely maddening as a fan of either team, it’s not good for the NBA product at all," lamented one angry fan.
Another clip showed Thunder guard Luguentz Dort fly in over the back of Mavs center Daniel Gafford and hit him with an elbow, which also went uncalled.
"And with his whole body before. Atrocious no call. Refs tried to make it a 7 game series. Tony Brothers has no business as NBA ref," responded an irate fan.
"Tony brothers the worse ref in the league bro," confidently declared one more.
