The entertainment world was abuzz when British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran made a guest appearance on "The Great Indian Kapil Show.” During his time on the show, Sheeran shared his memorable encounter with the Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, affectionately known as SRK. The singer couldn't help but express his admiration for the actor, describing him as someone who is not only immensely popular but also incredibly warm and down-to-earth. Kapil asked him for more deets about his meeting with Shah Rukh Khan.
Ed Sheeran recounted his experience of meeting Shah Rukh Khan backstage at a music festival in Mumbai. The singer was in awe of the actor's charisma and humble nature. Despite Khan's enormous fame and stature in the industry, Sheeran was pleasantly surprised by his genuine warmth and friendliness. Ed revealed that he first met him in 2017 and met him again this time at his place in 2024.
He shared, “I met SRK first in 2017 and the second time I met him was this time in 2024. I went to his place, he taught me some dance moves and we jammed on some music. He is so big and yet so wonderful.”
He then expressed his admiration for Indian cinema and Bollywood songs revealing how he’s fond of them and usually listen to them while travelling. Ed then praised singers King and Armaan Malik. He said, “Usually when I travel, I listen to some of the famous Bollywood songs. I love King and Armaan Malik’s songs.
