Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck did not spend Mother's Day together amid rumors they have been living apart for 'several weeks'

Jennifer Lopez celebrated Mother's Day with her kids, but without her husband.

A source close to the Grammy winner, 54, said the couple, who appear to be living apart, 'did not celebrate Mother's Day together,' according to People.

The rift between the two, who married first in Las Vegas in July 2022 and then walked down the aisle in a lavish wedding the next month at Affleck's estate in Georgia, seem to have been living separate lives.

The change in status wasn't so noticeable until Lopez returned from New York, where she was working on a variety of projects.

She recently completed filming Kiss of the Spider Woman, attended the premiere for her Netflix movie Atlas and co-chaired the Met Gala.

Affleck, who has been working on a sequel to his 2016 thriller The Accountant, was absent from the premiere and the gala, and has since been seen without his wedding ring.

The pair did reunite May 16, when they attended a recital at Fin Affleck's school. The actor shares Fin, formerly Seraphina, 15, Violet, 18, and Sam, 12, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, 52.

An eyewitness told DailyMail.com that 'Ben did not look happy to see JLo as she arrived at a show for one of his kids.'

'When he saw her get out of her car, they did not hug or kiss,' the observer noted of the actor, 51, and his wife, 54, who arrived separately and met up in a parking lot.

Despite not engaging in any public displays of affection, Jennifer brought Ben's child a beautiful bouquet of sunflowers to celebrate their performance.

An insider told Perez Hilton that 'nothing would have stopped them coming together for the kids' and that 'the marriage drama comes second.'

'They are putting on a united front. Jen showed up with Emme to support Fin. Emme’s super attached to Fin, so it’s only natural that Jen, no matter what she’s going through with Ben, was there,' the source said.

Lopez shares twins Emme and Max, 16, with ex-husband Marc Anthony, 55.

'You are brilliant and beautiful and worthy of love and all the beautiful things in life. If you ever learn one thing from me, let it be that. I love you beyond forever… And ever… And ever…'

The All I Have singer also offered an emotional salute to her own mother, Guadalupe.

'Happy Mother’s Day to my Mommy. As the years go by, I realize more and more the sacrifices you made of yourself and your dreams to give us the opportunity and strength to live our own,' she wrote.

'I appreciate all of the songs you sang and the dancing in the living room and all the stories you told where I would hang on every word and then cry from laughter at how you told them. Thank you for the joy that you instilled in me,' she explained.
