Girls Aloud's The Show setlist is packed with nostalgic bangers

Girls Aloud kicked off their reunion tour at Dublin's 3Arena on Friday and it was everything fans had hoped for!

Cheryl, Nadine Coyle, Kimberley Walsh, and Nicola Roberts sang banger after banger from the archives to put on a truly unforgettable show for the audience.

The foursome began their 90-minute set with the 2008 track Untouchable. Channeling Glinda the Good Witch, they looked ethereal as the long, flowing trains of their pink gowns draped behind them as they hovered about the stage.

Girls Aloud left the audience wanting more and more as they performed The Show, followed by Something New and Love Machine.

Pardon moi! Fans were feeling all the nostalgia as they belted Can't Speak French and broke out the Biology dance from the depths of their minds.

Cheryl, Nadine, Nicola, and Kimberley then paid an emotional tribute to their late bandmate Sarah Harding, who sadly lost her battle with breast cancer in 2021, during Whole Lotta History.

The girls allowed their late best pal to take centre stage for the concluding vocals of the track while they seized the opportunity to run off for a costume change.

And what a costume change it was, as Kimberley, Cheryl, Nadine, and Nicola came back out in their best biker chick chic, riding motorbikes that hovered above the audience.

Fittingly, the girls performed their more powerful tracks Wake Me Up, Sound of the Underground, Girl Overboard, No Good Advice, Graffiti My Soul, and Long Hot Summer.

Again, the girls paid tribute to Sarah during I'll Stand By You, a track that is beautifully dominated by her vocals. They became emotional as they asked fans to help them along their 'duet' with their late bandmate.

Were we dancing? Yeah, yeah, yeah, as Nadine, Cheryl, Kimberley and Nicola christened their second costume change of the evening with Sexy! No, No, No...

Fans jumped for their love as the girls performed their tracks On The Metro, Jump, and Call The Shots before concluding their set with Something Kinda Ooooh!

Naturally, after the audience chanted 'Olé, Olé, Olé' for the hundredth time, Kimberley, Cheryl, Nadine, and Nicola decided to grace them with their presence for one last song.

Concluding The Show, Kimberley, Nicola, Cheryl, and Nadine swapped their spicy outfits for the glitzy gowns they wore in The Promise music video for their encore.

The girl group, who were formed on Popstars: The Rivals in 2002, observed their late bandmate Sarah as she belted out her well-known lyrics 'Here I am, a walkin' primrose,' as the crowned mourned her evident loss.
