Summer-like warmth on the way
You can ship Natasha to Miami too. I'm just saying 17°. It's comfortable weather out there though, especially if you don't have air conditioning at night time. Even though temperatures are above seasonal, we are still going to stay with comfortable temperatures until next week. It's going to feel summer like we've got a little bit of humidity coming as well, but this is the rain that just passed through the GTA, still a couple of raindrops lingering out through the West End of Lake Ontario. This will all be done and over within another one to two hours or so. We've got some heavier rain still happening out towards Coburg and Belleville and Prince Edward County, but if you're heading out the door early tomorrow morning. You're going to be met with fog, low cloud and drizzle, but really mild temperatures to start off the day at 16°, the fog and forecast visibility. It's going to be worse at its worst after midnight, but as the sun starts to rise, that'll help to mix up the atmosphere and then visibility starts going up again throughout the morning, so 17° now. And like I said, it will be a mild and slightly above seasonal long weekend here. It's just the next two mornings that we have to deal with this low cloud, fog and drizzle. It may take until about 2:00 PM tomorrow to clear out, and then it should clear out on Sunday by about 11:00 AM and Monday. Here comes the heat, 26°. Now that was the long weekend forecast. For Toronto, it's even warmer if you're heading north. Listen, if you're heading north, you're not even watching me because you're already on the road. You're already there. Off toward Lake Simcoe, you go future mugginess. That humidity will start to build Tuesday, Wednesday, Wednesday night, it is out of here. OK, so we've got maybe two days where we could see those humid X values. Very close to 30, especially down in Southwestern Ontario. Fireworks forecast on Monday. Now the daytime is warm, it's dry through Victoria Day, and it looks like if you are heading out to watch those fireworks, it is also going to stay dry. So you don't have to deal with any kind of rain gear. However, next week is looking very unsettled, along with the risk of thunderstorms. I'm forecasting that it's going to be a busy week here ahead next week for meteorologists. All right, happy long weekend. Over to you, Nick.
