Giada De Laurentiis dropped in on Instagram on Friday to share a life update with her 2.2 million followers.
The 53-year-old award-winning chef, who sent her 16-year-old daughter Jade off to prom earlier this month, posted a photo propped up in bed after a medical procedure.
'Blissful recovery,' she wrote in the caption. 'Had a minor sinus surgery this morning — all is well, but going to spend the weekend right here recovering with the fam. Just missing Jadey!'
The cookbook author wore a blue robe as she relaxed in a big, lush bed with a mauve headboard.
Resting next to her was longtime boyfriend Shane Farley and two of their small dogs.

Since retiring from The Food Network in early 2023, Giada has leaned into other projects.
'I really started to become interested in the entrepreneurial sort of journey. And I realized I couldn't do both,' she told Rebecca Minkoff on her Superwoman podcast.
De Laurentiis cited her 2015 divorce, her busy work schedule and being a single mom as reasons she was burnt out and 'felt like the world was crumbling around me.'
