The mother of 'Britain's biggest family', has berated her husband for damaging their £40,000 caravan during their Scottish mini-break.

Sue Radford said she was 'fuming' at Noel for scratching their motorhome, which they purchased in 2022, during their trip to visit family and friends near Edinburgh.

Noel said he reversed into the plot and realised his parking was wonky, so he attempted to straighten up and ended up hitting one of the taps that provides water to the motorhome.

Realising his mistake, he said: 'I caught the back end of the camper and scratched it. I thought oh my god.'

The mother of 22, who lives in Morecambe, Lancashire, could be heard in the background saying: 'Tell them what you did. I'm fuming.

'Not being funny but people say women drivers are really bad, I just don't believe it.'

Upon showing the damage to the side of the caravan, Noel admitted some of the scratches were deep.

The father then joked that he made a 'new friend' after a woman in the plot next door witnessed him damaging the caravan and never told Sue.

But there was another time Noel had a near miss when he was driving the large vehicle. He said: 'I moved as far as I could over to the left and this transit van was going the opposite way.

'[We] didn't really move over so we smacked wing mirrors and it's broken the indicator bit on it so I need to get that fixed as well.'

Noel said the recent damage 'wasn't bad' adding that it would probably rub out but Sue was adamant that he would be going to get it fixed.

'You'll be sorting that out. You will be sorting that out. I think I should drive this now. How have you done that?

'I'm gonna book him in for a proper eye test. I'm telling you now, I don't understand how you've done it.'

Noel also joked that his wife would have to purchase some driving lessons alongside the eye test.
