ASX 200 to take ‘a step backwards’ with markets predicted to open down

CommSec’s Tom Piotrowski says the ASX 200 is going to take “a step backwards” on Friday.

“The Futures are telling us the ASX 200 will be down by about a half of one per cent,” he told Sky News Australia.

“So that reflects a tone in Northern Hemisphere markets where stocks were generally lower, but it must be said they are just moderating from record highs.”
