Rhabdomyolysis is intense muscle damage, with leakage of muscle cell contents, which can be secondary to the use of certain medications, some infections and even very intense exercise. It is a very serious disease because it can evolve with renal failure due to the damage caused by the intracellular material released into the blood. Some habits can help prevent rhabdomyolysis, such as not exercising to exhaustion, doing medical follow-up when using medication, good hydration.

It is prevented by not over-exercising in extreme heat conditions and taking balanced diet with fresh fruits and vegetables. Take proper fluid content and keep yourself hydrated. Electrolyte replacement should also be done to prevent rhabdomyolysis. These plenty of fluids dilute the urine and flush out myoglobin out of the kidney.
