Orlando Magic forward Jonathan Isaac has agreed on a five-year, $84 million contract renegotiation and extension, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Orlando renegotiated the $17.4 million Isaac had in his contract for this upcoming year, according to ESPN's Bobby Marks. The contract will decrease in the following years, and he's the 12th player since 2006 to have a contract renegotiated and extended.

Isaac was a key player off the bench for the Magic this past season, averaging 6.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game. Orlando made its first playoff appearance since 2020, losing to the Cleveland Cavaliers in seven games. Isaac scored 44 points and snagged 34 rebounds in the series.

Isaac was drafted by the Magic with the sixth pick in the 2017 NBA draft out of Florida State University. He averaged 12.3 points, 9.4 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game in the 2019-20 season before hyperextending his left knee against the Washington Wizards on January 1, 2020. He returned for Orlando's bubble loss to the Sacramento Kings but tore his ACL and missed the next two seasons.

After playing just 11 games in the 2022-23 season because of a torn left adductor muscle, Isaac played 58 games this past year. He returns to a Magic squad which just signed former Denver Nuggets guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope to a three-year, $66 million contract.
