NBA All Star Praises Kentucky Great

Kentucky had two Top-10 picks in this year's NBA Draft. It was Reed Sheppard going No. 3 to the Houston Rockets, and Rob Dillingham selected 8th overall to the San Antonio Spurs, who was then traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves. That trade has a number of people up in arms questioning the Spurs' decision to trade a guy like Dillingham.
As a result of the trade, NBA star Draymond Green said on his podcast the team that he thinks won the NBA Draft this year was the Minnesota Timberwolves, as he called Rob Dillingham their point guard for the future. "Who won the draft to me was the Minnesota Timberwolves," Green said. "And the reason the Minnesota Timberwolves won the draft is because they drafted their point guard in the future in Rob Dillingham, who I think is a very special player, who, some of those teams at the top of the draft were afraid of."
Green says some of the teams among the Top-10 in the draft were afraid to draft Rob Dillingham because of his swag that comes with his talent. "Who, some of those teams at the top of the draft were afraid of, because he's got swag, and he's got game, and they don't know if his game is going to fit into their systems that don't work and get them fired. When you can just get a really good player who can score the basketball, Steph Curry, and figure out how the system works for him, and then all of a sudden the franchise is in territory that it's never been in before. But, at times we run into these guards with swag that they just don't fit in the system, and so teams run away from them. There's gonna br some teams that regret passing Rob Dillingham."
It's going to be exciting to see how year one in Minnesota works out for Dillingham.
