A Place in the Sun couple refuse to view property as they tell host 'there's no point'

A Place in the Sun guests were left unimpressed during their property quest in Villamartin on the hit Channel 4 show.

During a repeated episode of the travel series which aired on Tuesday (July 2), viewers got to follow along as Lee and Louise scoured for their ideal vacation home.

Hop into action comes property expert Leah Charles-King, given the tricky mission of tracking down a three-bedroom beachside abode complete with private pool all within the tidy sum of £212,000.

The property savvies appeared wowed by their second house viewing, but it was the third one that signalled a shocking twist. A visibly anxious Leah confessed it was a bit of a gamble showing them this particular property.

Louise was already sceptical about the location before setting foot inside the property. While briefing them on the communal pool shared among 27 properties, an appalled Louise retorted, "27 for this one pool? ! I think it's too small for the amount of properties."

While still reeling from this, Louise began nitpicking other elements she found distasteful, reports the Express. Stinging critique in tow, she voiced another fault, "I can also see there are lots of bins just there, so it looks like we're opposite a tip."

Leah defended her choice, positioning the property's closeness to the beach and suitability to their budget as major draws. In light of no private swimming pool or adjacency to the said property, Leah probed into their thoughts further. Not mincing her words, Louise responded: "Honestly? It's just not cutting the mustard for me."

The couple weren't blown away by the home

Despite their initial concerns, they agreed to explore the property and praised the spaciousness and tidiness of the front.

Yet, once inside, Lee and Louise appeared convinced it wasn't for them despite the tempting price tag, leading Leah to comment: "Your faces just tell me a story."

Upon both parties confessing how unenthused they were by the property, the Channel 4 celeb was rather surprised. She queried: "So, straight away you've walked in here and you don't like it? Why is that? ".

Listing several faults, Louise shared with Leah that issues included the communal pool, lack of privacy and the desolate surroundings. The Channel 4 presenter then brutally asked: "I'm going to be really honest here, do you even want to see the rest of this property? ".

Lee responded: "We're not going to buy it, so there's no point. It's just not going to happen, it's just got too many bits missing for us." Honouring their decision, Leah escorted them out of the property to continue their house hunt.

Eventually, they fell head over heels with the final location and boldly decided to offer £27,000 below the asking price. However, after a series of negotiations, the pair ended up disheartened when the seller wouldn't cave on her proposed rate.
