Reuters: U.S. Expected to Approve Over US$300M Defense Package for Taiwan - TaiwanPlus News
The US is expected to announce more than $300 million worth of military aid to Taiwan, possibly as early as Friday. That's according to a report by Reuters. That report cites several sources as saying the package could include four unarmed reconnaissance drones. The deal is part of a presidential drawdown authority with $1 billion allocated for aid to Taiwan this year. But Taiwan is still waiting for a delayed $19 billion worth of weapons and equipment from the US.
