Spurs release Summer League roster
Amidst all the chaos of free agency, it may be easy to forget that Summer League is just around the corner. The Spurs released their schedule last week — they will be playing in the Sacramento California Classic July 6-8 and Las Vegas July 13-19 — and today, they have released their roster.
Not only will it be fans’ first chance to see rookies Stephon Castle and Harrison Ingram, but there are plenty of other familiar names as well, including second-year swingman Sidy Cissoko and the Spurs’ two-way players from the end of last season in Jamaree Bouyea, RaiQuan Gray and David Duke Jr. (the latter whom the Spurs have extended a qualifying offer to). There are also some other familiar names if you follow the G League and/or college basketball in the state of Texas, with Luke Avdalovic and Yauhen Massalski out of Austin, plus Tyrece “Boots” Radford from Texas A&M and Jameer Nelson Jr. (son of former NBA player Jameer Nelson) out of TCU.
As a reminder, all games will be in the evening and nationally televised, so there will be no reason not to tune in! Remember to stick around at PtR for all Summer League coverage, as well as everything that’s happening.
