According to exchange data, the board of Tata Power had in the first week of May recommended a final dividend payout of 200 per cent on each stock of Re 1 face value. This translates into a payout of Rs 2.

"The Board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 2 per Equity Share of Re 1 each (@ 200%) to the Members for the financial year ended March 31, 2024," a statement by the company read.

The board of Tata Power has already set the ex-date and record date for determining the eligibility of shareholders' participation in the dividend. Tata Power dividend ex-date and record date are on July 4.

"The company has fixed the Record Date as Thursday, July 4, 2024 for taking record of the Members of the company for the purpose of payment of dividend," as per a filing.

As per a company statement, Tata Power dividend will be paid to eligible shareholders on and from Thursday, July 18.
