NCBA Bank has announced several job openings for qualified Kenyans on its online recruitment portal.

The vacant positions at NCBA Bank range from entry-level roles to senior management.

Which jobs did NCBA advertise?

1. Card systems engineer

The card systems engineer will ensure card management systems and other related card support applications are implemented and supported adequately.

The holder will report to the senior manager, card systems integration. The application deadline is July 10.

2. Financial risk analyst, advisory services

This role performs financial analysis and validation activities, which evaluate and identify potential financial risks threatening Loop DFS Group assets, earning capacity, or the organisation's success.

An applicant must submit his/her application by July 10.

3. Value management office (VMO) analyst

The VMO analyst will perform a thorough study of project portfolios, evaluate how well they correspond with corporate goals, and spotting chances to optimise return on investment (ROI).

He or she will play a critical role in advancing value realisation efforts and maximising investment decisions in support of NCBA's organisation's strategic objectives. Deadline is July 10.

4. Release train engineer (RTE)

RTE will lead and guide several agile teams in planning, coordinating and executing programme increments, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timely delivery of high-quality software products.

Applications should be submitted by July 10.

5. Senior manager- customer support, reconciliation and settlement

The role holder will oversee all LOOP DFS transaction fulfilment processes.

These include, but are not limited to, payments, reconciliations, and settlements. Ensure the optimization of all processes by aligning the Operations strategy and IT capability and leveraging technology and digitisation.

6. Financial crime compliance (FCC) specialist

The FCC specialist's daily responsibilities include reviewing all AML systems and processes and identifying and monitoring high-risk accounts and transactions using risk management platforms and procedures.

He/she will assist in defending LDFS against risky situations that result in financial losses.

The holder will also oversee data analysis to monitor suspicious account activity and AML investigations to identify patterns and behaviours. The application deadline is July 3.

7. Officer, Monitoring & Control, Merchant & Ecosystem, FRM

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong bonds with debtors, service providers, and LDFS promoters (merchant services).

He/she will report to the manager, monitoring and control. Candidates seeking this job have up to August 7 to apply.

8. Compliance, assurance and reporting specialist

A compliance, assurance and reporting specialist will examine risk information gathered from several sources, including audit findings, incident reports, and risk registers.

9. Credit risk analyst – merchant & ecosystems specialist

The role holder is responsible for driving quality lending margins through the evaluation of financial and credit risk proposals, in addition to offering suggestions that influence business choices that are in line with the LDFS Business Model, Risk Appetite, and Business Objectives.
