The release of the Fallout television series has revitalized audience interest in the franchise, leading fans to produce more creations like a mini-terrarium with power armor. Video game fans have long adored the Fallout games for their roleplaying gameplay and post-apocalyptic setting, with the latter filled with many unique features.

A unique historical fantasy roleplaying game, Fallout takes players to a world devastated by warfare. Fans can make their own fully customizable character, with specialized traits and talents, and make a name for themselves in the realm of Fallout. One of the most iconic elements of the game, the power armor, is a favorite among audiences and can be frequently found in Fallout fan art.

A Fallout 4 player discovers a new infinite ammo glitch, which appears to stem from content introduced in the next-gen update.

Artist tobeasloth shared a look at the adorably tiny Fallout mini-terrarium that they made for their boyfriend's birthday. With the help of a friend, tobeasloth created a custom power armor mini-figure, utilizing UV resin and metallic paints to bring the iconic suit to life. They then placed the tiny power armor in a small glass cube terrarium among micro-foliage, perfectly capturing one of the most recognizable elements in the Fallout series. They also added tiny bits of red "bottle caps" as an Easter egg to a familiar aspect of the franchise. Players will remember that bottle caps in the Fallout games are used as currency, which is then used to purchase upgrades for power armor, weapons, and more. Fellow players applauded the wonderful gift, with many happy to see Fallout continuing to reach new fans.

Fallout Continues To Captivate Fans

While the Amazon Prime television series has helped introduce Fallout to a slew of new fans, the games have managed to keep audiences captivated for a surprisingly long time. Even players with thousands of hours of gameplay have found new discoveries in Fallout, highlighting one of the many reasons why fans love the games. The plentiful side quests, satisfying gameplay, retrofuturistic aesthetic, and eerily believable story continue to keep players flocking back to the Wasteland, with many hopeful for another fresh release in the beloved franchise. Whether the revitalized popularity leads to a new Fallout game remains to be seen, but fans seem content to enjoy the existing games and the surplus of fan-made content.

Video game franchises have seen a massive boost of energy thanks to television adaptations, and Fallout is among the stand-out examples of a TV show helping to revitalize a gaming fandom. More fans have been jumping into Fallout 76, and Fallout 4 sales are still way up. The Fallout series' community certainly has plenty to enjoy while holding out hope for a big franchise announcement.
