Elder Scrolls Online is Giving Out Free DLC Throughout July

  • The Elder Scrolls Online offers free Clockwork City DLC as a login reward in July for its 10-year anniversary.
  • Players need to log in twice during the month to claim the DLC, which includes a new mechanical city, 10 zone quests, and more.
  • The game also features additional login rewards, double XP days, and PvP events to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

The Elder Scrolls Online has confirmed that it will be giving out a free piece of DLC throughout July, as part of the game's ongoing 10-year anniversary celebrations. ZeniMax Online Studios has already done a ton to celebrate The Elder Scrolls Online turning 10 years old, and this is the latest gift to the player base.

The Elder Scrolls Online has come a very long way since its initial release back in 2014. Thanks to the ongoing commitment of developer ZeniMax Online Studios, the game has gone from strength to strength, with numerous DLCs expanding the world that players can explore and making big improvements to the core gameplay. Just recently, The Elder Scrolls Online's Gold Road DLC was released, giving gamers a ton of new content to enjoy, but it seems as though ZeniMax Online Studios isn't done giving to fans of the game.

As confirmed in a post on the Elder Scrolls Online website, gamers will be able to claim the Clockwork City DLC as a login reward from the second day of July. Players do need to log in at least twice throughout the month in order to claim it, but it's free, so it totally makes sense, even for players who aren't planning on trying it for a while. The Clockwork City DLC in The Elder Scrolls Online gives players access to a new mechanical city, including 10 zone quests and many more side quests to complete. There's a ton of content here, so it's awesome that players have the opportunity to get it for free.

The Elder Scrolls Online's Clockwork City DLC Will Be a Free Login Reward in July

The post was part of a wider update confirming everything coming to The Elder Scrolls Online throughout July. There are even more login rewards beyond Clockwork City, including Wild Hunt Crown Crates and 50,000 gold. Other celebrations coming to the game include six days of double XP and several PvP events, which should keep players engaged across July. The Elder Scrolls Online is one of the best MMORPGs perfect for newcomers to the genre, and the 10th anniversary celebrations could be the right time for any gamers who haven't given it a try already to hop in.

Despite turning 10 years old, The Elder Scrolls Online seems to have a ton of life left in it. With The Elder Scrolls 6 seemingly still years away, it's a great way for players to get their fix of the franchise without going back for another Skyrim playthrough. While ZeniMax Online Studios has yet to confirm details about any future expansions beyond Gold Road, it's likely that there's more to come from the game.
