Royal women should wear closed-toe footwear and tights - so can you guess who has bent the rules with these VERY leggy appearances?

Being a member of the Royal Family involves following numerous rules and traditions that extend to clothing and styling choices.

For instance, royal women should refrain from removing coats in public since it is viewed as unladylike. Nail varnish should be neutral, not coloured.

And then it comes to legs and feet it is considered inappropriate to wear open toe shoes with bare legs.

Instead, royal ladies should wear closed-toe footwear and tights, regardless of the weather.

But, as these pictures show, there have been occasional exceptions...

Can you guess which royal these elegant pins belong to?
