Expert Ranks Falcons OL Among Very Best In 2024
While there are a lot of questions surrounding the Atlanta Falcons under first-year head coach Raheem Morris, the offensive line isn't one of them.
Warren Sharp of Sharp Analytics recently ranked all 32 offensive lines in the league ahead of the 2024 season. The Falcons ranked second with a rating of 95 out of 100.
That mark is second in the NFL behind the Detroit Lions (100).
"Atlanta was the fourth-best blocking team according to Pro Football Focus in 2023, and our panel ranked them as the second-best offensive line heading into 2024. They return all five starters from a year ago." -- Sharp

The Falcons return left tackle Jake Matthews, left guard Matthew Bergeron, center Drew Dalman, right guard Chris Lindstrom and right tackle Kaleb McGary.
This group's performance will be pivotal for Atlanta's chances at making the playoffs. It can be argued that the offensive front is even more important for a team under a new staff and led by a new quarterback in Kirk Cousins.
The offensive talent is there elsewhere, and the big guys up front are among the best in the league. That doesn't leave many excuses for this unit in 2024.
