Millions in Nigeria have little to no electricity. It's depriving students of essential tools for their education
There has never been electricity here and that is affecting so many things here, particularly education. Today, education has gone beyond writing and listening to teachers in class alone. Education has gone digital and there's no way we can give the students the best of what they need without electricity. One of the biggest problem about this whole thing, about this electricity is that we have connected wires around here, even connected to grid, still yes, we don't have access to this electricity and this affects the school as a whole because we cannot even put our gadgets to use because of there's no electricity around us. One of the biggest worries, the fact that we don't want to lose these schools soon because people are going, moving away from this year in the name of there's no light. I have some people who have been located just because they said there's no light in this community. So we are losing poopy in the process and people have to go with their parents and leave the school. We could be using generator in that we have a generator, but the cost of the fail is fairly established. We engage in charity, one of the children, their parents, they are not capable of paying for the school of the children, so we sponsor them ourselves so because we want education in this community.
