One woman has explained why you should always check bottom of Ben & Jerry's ice cream tubs

People have been left gobsmacked after discovering what's at the bottom of their Ben & Jerry's ice cream tubs - but some believe it's too good to be true.

Mum Lena Boston has taken to TikTok to share the 'secret' treat she claims to be hidden underneath certain ice cream flavours - as she urges people to check the packaging before throwing it away.

Her video, which has more than 2.3 million views, has got a lot of people talking - with many admitting they had no idea about the 'secret' section.

In her viral clip, she writes: "This is why you should always check the bottom of your Ben & Jerry's tubs." From here, she is seen buying Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie from Target, taking it home, and scooping out the ice cream.

She then cleans out the tub and opens the bottom section with a knife to reveal two bite-sized fudge brownie chocolates. While some users shared their amazement over the discovery, others claim it's too good to be true and she planted the chocolates there for the video.

One user said: "What. Eh. Why are they hiding it? The amount of uneaten, unclaimed fudge brownies I never knew I had." Another user added: "If you work on making the cut look more real then maybe it would actually fool someone."

A third user said: "Not me thinking it was gonna be like Willy Wonker's golden ticket and cursing myself for never checking until I saw the end." One more user added: "This is like when everyone said there was a spoon in the Nutella lid." A final user said: "I beg your finest pardon?!"

After putting it to the test, however, TikTok user @keilys19 was left disappointed, disproving the video entirely. She said: "Ok, so I love Ben & Jerry's and I have to try it so..." In her video, she is seen scooping out a tub of Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie just like in the previous example.

But when she gets to the bottom, she discovers nothing is there. She added: "So I completely ripped it open because this is freaking fake. Like, where could it possibly be? This was definitely cap but now I have an excuse to eat ice cream so it's a win for me."
