Patrick Mahomes is headed back to college. Well, sort of.

It's part of a new, 10-year partnership between Mahomes, Adidas and Texas Tech. The new "look" of the stadium will include the logo of Mahomes' Gladiator apparel company.
“I wouldn’t be where I am today if it weren’t for Texas Tech and I’m proud to have helped bring Red Raider Nation into the three-stripe fam,” Mahomes said in a press release. “Today is just the beginning of an incredible partnership with adidas, so stay tuned for more to come this fall that we’re excited to be working on together!”
Mahomes played at Tech from 2014-16, throwing 93 touchdowns in the three seasons and obviously showing enough athleticism, arm strength and creativity to prompt the Chiefs to trade up to select him 10th overall in the 2017 NFL Draft.
