Shaquille O'Neal Implores Angel Reese to 'Stop Reading Comments' After Emotional Reaction to Charles Barkley Rant
NBA icon Charles Barkley caused a lot of controversy when he called WNBA players "petty" for their physicality toward rookie sensation Caitlin Clark back in May.
Shaquille O'Neal (who is well known for having a good relationship with Angel Reese) was sitting right next to him when he delivered this take.
Shaq admitted during an June episode of his "The Big Podcast With Shaq" podcast that his silence didn't sit well with Reese.
“Angel actually called me," Shaq said. "She was upset (and asked me), ‘Why you didn’t say nothing?’
Shaq elaborated on Reese's response in the podcast's most recent episode.
He even went so far as to call Reese "sensitive".

"I have to call [Reese] to tell her 'stop reading comments'," Shaq said.
"You don't owe an explanation to anybody.... Cause she jumped on me. 'Why you say nothing to Charles?' Cause first of all, you know Charles takes up the segment and I didn't have time to say anything, but I talked to him afterwards.
"And the ones that are real sensitive are the ones that are more dominant," Shaq added of Reese.
It's hard to imagine Reese will take kindly to being deemed sensitive by Shaq.
