Princess Anne Has Returned Home From Hospital Following Concussion Incident
The royal sustained "minor injuries" while likely horse riding at her estate.

Princess Anne is headed home. The royal, who was admitted to Southmead Hospital on June 23 following a horse "incident" at her Gatcombe Park estate that resulted in "minor injuries and concussion," was discharged from the hospital on June 28, according to BBC and Sky News.
"I would like to extend my warmest thanks to all the team at Southmead Hospital for their care, expertise and kindness during my wife’s short stay,” Anne's husband, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, said in a statement obtained by Sky News.

In a June 24 statement, Buckingham Palace revealed the extent of Anne's injuries and detailed her condition.
“The Princess Royal has sustained minor injuries and concussion following an incident on the Gatcombe Park estate yesterday evening,” the Palace explained. “Her Royal Highness remains in Southmead Hospital, Bristol, as a precautionary measure for observation and is expected to make a full and swift recovery.” The Palace further explained that Anne's brother, King Charles “has been kept closely informed and joins the whole Royal Family in sending his fondest love and well-wishes to The Princess for a speedy recovery.”

The Palace did not provide any specifics about the incident that led to her condition. The most information royal fans received was from a source that claimed "her injuries are consistent with a potential impact from a horse's head or legs," according to People. Following the Palace's statement, The Telegraph gave an update on Anne's condition and said that she was experiencing some memory loss, most likely temporary, during her hospital stay.
Though Anne has left Southmead and is headed home, Buckingham Palace has not provided a timeline for when she will return to her royal duties.
