Britt Baker Makes Her Return At AEW Forbidden Door
AEW Forbidden Door 2024 delivered in more ways than one, providing tons of exciting wrestling action from AEW, CMLL, Stardom and NJPW's biggest stars. There were some notable surprises as well, as AEW welcomed back one of its cornerstones. Following Mercedes Mone's win over Stephanie Vaquer, Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. made her much-anticipated return from injury.
The Doctor Is In At AEW Forbidden Door
In one of the marquee matchups of the PPV, Mercedes Mone looked to win the title she was destined for, but an injury stole from her. Mone put her AEW TBS Championship on the line against CMLL's Stephanie Vaquer, who in turn put her NJPW Strong Women's Championship on the line.
In a stellar back and forth match that saw both women lay it all out on the line, Mone managed to make Vaquer tap out to the Money Maker, giving her the win and becoming a double champion.
