MLB strikeout props for Mon. 7/1: Nice price for Bryse

Coming off a 10-5 week in strikeout props, we're looking to keep the momentum rolling into the new week. Let's stay hot with three strikeout props for Monday's tiny MLB slate.
Hunter Brown over 5.5 Ks (+120 FanDuel)
Astros at Blue Jays, 3:07 p.m. ET
This is a surprisingly low number considering how dominant Brown has been of late. The Houston Astros right-hander has recorded at least six strikeouts in six straight starts, and he has three shutout performances in that span. This line is only 5.5 because the Toronto Blue Jays have the fourth-lowest strikeout rate and the second-lowest whiff rate in MLB, but they haven't been as good lately. Over the last week, Toronto has the 10th-highest K rate against righties (26.0 percent). This is a solid look at a plus-money price.
David Peterson under 4.5 Ks (-110 DraftKings)
Mets at Nationals, 6:45 p.m. ET
The Washington Nationals love facing off against Peterson. In 87 combined plate appearances against the New York Mets left-hander, current Nationals hitters are batting .338 with a .350 xwOBA and a 9.2 percent strikeout rate. Peterson went up against the Nats in early June, and he managed only two strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work. Washington also has the seventh-lowest K rate against lefties over the last week (18.5 percent), so everything points toward the under here.
Bryse Wilson 5+ strikeouts (+135 DK)
Brewers at Rockies, 8:40 p.m. ET
Wilson isn't a pitcher we'd normally target with an over. The Milwaukee Brewers right-hander ranks in the 17th percentile in chase rate, the 27th percentile in whiff rate and the 29th percentile in strikeout rate this season, but this is a great matchup for him. The Colorado Rockies have the second-highest K rate in MLB over the last two weeks (29.2 percent), and that number jumps to a whopping 33.5 percent over the last week. Wilson has recorded at least five Ks in two of his last three starts, and this might be the easiest matchup he'll face all year.
