Bills Still Awaiting Micah Hyde Retirement Decision
The Buffalo Bills have lost some familiar faces in the secondary this offseason, and could potentially be losing one more.
However, veteran safety Micah Hyde has yet to make anything official as the clock keeps ticking ahead of training camp.

Hyde, who remains a free agent, has yet to sign a new deal with Buffalo but has made it clear that it's Bills-or-bust as he considers potential retirement.
The Bills begin training camp on July 24, and it'd be best for the team to know his intentions by then. Though Hyde doesn't exactly need tons of practice reps, he'll need to get into game shape ahead of the season when taking his injury history into account.
"Before I got surgery up in L.A. with Dr. Watkins, he mentioned to me 'Do you want to continue playing?'" Hyde said on the Centered on Buffalo podcast. "And I'm like 'Oh, no-brainer. Yes.'"
However, based on a recent update from a medical expert, it's best that Bills Mafia not get their hopes too high about his potential return to Orchard Park for another season.
Dr. Kyle Trimble recently wrote for BangedUpBills.com that Hyde "probably shouldn't return" considering his issues with some serious neck injuries.
“Based off the information that we have available, he probably shouldn’t return,” Trimble opined. “But this is all about risk management. Hyde knows that if he retires, he likely won’t be able to return to play if he changes his mind."
