This Disturbing Docuseries Is The Top Show On Netflix Right Now

“Worst Roommate Ever” is currently the most popular show on Netflix, according to the platform’s public ranking system.

As the title suggests, the docuseries details people’s real experiences with nightmarish living situations ― from stories of fraud to murder. The second season of the show was released on June 26, about two years after the first season premiered.

Like season one, season two of the true crime series contains four different stories of seemingly normal living arrangements that turned terrifying. Each episode is just under an hour long.

“The Bear”

The top show on Hulu right now is the Emmy-winning comedy-drama “The Bear.”

Season three premiered on June 26 with the release of all 10 new episodes that continue the story of troubled chef Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White) and his staff (played by Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri and more).

“Land of Women”

Another buzzy show with a June 26 release date is “Land of Women,” or “Tierra de mujeres” in Spanish.

The new Apple TV+ dramedy stars Eva Longoria as a New York City woman who must flee to Spain with her mother and daughter after her husband implicates their family in his financial misdeeds.

“My Lady Jane”

“My Lady Jane” is trending on Amazon Prime Video. Based on a novel by Cynthia Hand, the historical fantasy series premiered on June 27.

The new show is a reimagining of the life of the English noblewoman and claimant to the English throne in a version of England inhabited by magical humans that can take animal form.

“One South: Portrait of a Psych Unit”

The two-part docuseries “One South: Portrait of a Psych Unit” is currently the second most popular show on Max.

Set at a inpatient psychiatric unit at New York City’s Zucker Hillside Hospital in Queens, “One South” examines the experience of college-age patients at the facility and its unique program to help young adults struggling with mental health issues.
