BRAZORIA COUNTY, Texas — Depending where you are, you may have noticed the strong smell of smoke Monday morning.
It’s likely because of what’s going on in Brazoria County. There’s a wildfire that’s been burning since Sunday.
The fire is burning near County Roads 227 and 208. Â No structures have been damaged and no roads closed, according to officials, but people are being asked to avoid the area.
Because of the fire, people are reaching out to emergency officials, asking what the smoke smell is.
In Webster, the police department put out a post on social media, alerting people what the smell was.

You may notice a strong smell of smoke in our City this morning. This is due to a fire in Brazoria County, which is currently burning across 300 acres.
