Producers eyeing A Current Affair's Tracy Grimshaw for surprising reality television role

Tracy Grimshaw may be heading for reality TV.
The respected former A Current Affair host is being eyed by producers to appear on Channel Nine's Travel Guides, according to a new report.
Travel Guides sees 'ordinary Australians take on the job of being travel critics as they rate their vacation experiences in some of the world's most popular locations.'
Now producers are hoping to launch a celebrity version of the series, claims New Idea, and they have their sites set on Tracy.
'Tracy has always turned down any reality TV offers,' an alleged source tells the publication.
'She is a highly respected presenter and journalist. But Travel Guides is all about cultural experiences and having fun, so she may very well reconsider her stance.'
The possibility of a celebrity version of the show has been inspired by the success of Celebrity Gogglebox Australia.
'That format featured huge stars like Hamish Blake and his wife Zoe Foster Blake, and Terri, Bindi and Robert Irwin. It pulled in a large audience but it didn't detract from th regular Gogglebox Australia series,' claims the insider.

Tracy stepped away from ACA in 2022 with former Today co-host Ally Langdon filling her seat from January last year.
Tracy has moved on to hosting the new series Do You Want To Live Forever? since departing A Current Affair.
The new show examines the secrets to longevity and Tracy herself has been inspired to change some of her habits as a result.
The health and science docuseries will also star Dr. Nick Coatsworth, who guides six Aussies on a powerful journey to stop the clock and turn back time.

In a promotional video for Do You Want To Live Forever? the presenter first showed off her new blonde hairdo and youthful visage.
The 64-year-old then underwent digital ageing, with computer effects showing what she will look like as the years progress.
Throughout the effect, she is eventually shown with grey hair, deep wrinkles and sagging jowls.
Tracy admitted in the clip that she fears ageing and becoming 'frail' as well as losing her strong mind.
The television veteran's next TV project after leaving A Current Affair was confirmed earlier this year.
'I'm keen to explore exactly what a long life will look like,' Tracey said in a statement about the project.
'I'm a bit of a medical nerd so the research has been a pleasure,' she added,
