Rumors for the Day:
- According to the Wrestling Observer, FOX has decided to cut down on anything deemed offensive, which is why there were so many cuts and black screens during SmackDown last week. Others have said people in WWE were not very happy about it.
- At least as of last Friday, CM Punk has still not been cleared to wrestle, says Fightful Select. That’s why they did the angle with Drew McIntyre.
- On the injury front, they also say Asuka will likely not be back in WWE by the end of the year.
- Sean Ross Sapp said he’s heard there have been talks for how to bring Sammy Guevara back to AEW television and it’s “outside the box stuff planned for him.”
- Tony Khan told Wrestling Observer Radio he’s considering launching an “injury report” show to keep fans informed on injuries to AEW talent.
