Omari Hutchinson has officially left Chelsea to join Ipswich Town on a permanent deal after a successful loan spell with the Tractor Boys last season.
The 20-year-old joined
Chelsea
on a free transfer from Arsenal back in 2022, but he made just two first-team appearances for the Blues before being sent to Portman Road on a season-long loan deal for the 2023-24 campaign.
Hutchinson impressed under Kieran McKenna’s watchful eye and notched 16 goal contributions in 44 Championship games as Ipswich secured promotion back to the Premier League.

McKenna was eager to re-sign the Jamaican on a permanent deal following their historic promotion and the move has now been made official, with both clubs confirming the deal.
Ipswich have paid a reported €26 million for Hutchinson, although Chelsea will have to pay Arsenal around €5m due to a sell-on clause included when he left the Gunners.
