Suspected drunk driver dies after crash, being hit by wrecker truck on North Freeway, police say
Police said when officers got to the scene, one of their patrol units was hit by another suspected drunk driver.

HOUSTON — The North Freeway is back open after a suspected drunk driver died after crashing and then getting hit by a wrecker truck Sunday night, according to the Houston Police Department.
This happened around 11:30 p.m. on the northbound lanes near Quitman Road.
Houston police said when officers got to the scene, one of their patrol units was hit by another suspected drunk driver.
The driver of the wrecker, the driver that hit the patrol unit and the officers are OK.
