Amazon Prime Video July releases from brutal gladiator series to Emma Roberts movie
June was a big month for Amazon Prime Video with the launch of The Boys series four which continues to drop weekly, as well as I Am: Celine Dion, which follows the superstar's struggle with her life-altering illness, and My Lady Jane. There's plenty more to come in July, however, including Space Cadet, a movie starring Emma Roberts, and a bingeable series called Those About to Die with a star-studded cast list including Welsh actors Anthony Hopkins and Iwan Rheon.
The ancient Rome gladiator drama series, which is made up of 10 episodes, lands on the streaming service on July 19. Those About to Die is set in Rome in 79 A.D and sees Anthony in the role of Emperor Vespasian, while Game of Thrones star Iwan plays Tenax.
Meanwhile, Emma Roberts' new comedy drama follows her character Tiffany 'Rex' Simpson who has always dreamed of going to space, but life doesn't always go to plan. Tiffany aims high and inadvertently scams her way into NASA's ultra-competitive astronaut training program with the help of her supportive best friend Nadine, and attempts to get through training and into the cosmos before she blows her cover.
