Emcure Pharmaceuticals IPO: Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited, whose executive director is Shark Tank's Namita Thapar, is all set to make its D-street debut. The pharma company, which aims to raise Rs 1,952.03 crore, will launch its initial public offering (IPO) on Wednesday, July 3.

Namita Thapar is a well-known business executive and angel investor. Born on March 21, 1977, Namita serves as the Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, founded by her father Satish Ramanlal Mehta. She has played a major role in the company's growth and development.
Emcure Pharmaceuticals IPO Details
Emcure Pharma's public issue is a book-built issue of Rs 1,952.03 crore. The issue is a combination of fresh issue of 0.79 crore shares aggregating to Rs 800 crores and offer for sale of 1.14 crore shares aggregating to Rs 1,152.03 crores.
Of the total shares, 50 per cent are reserved for Qualified Institutional Investors (QIBs), 35 per cent for retail investors, and 15 per cent for Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs).
Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Limited, Axis Capital Limited, J.P. Morgan India Private Limited and Jefferies India Private Limited are the book running lead managers of the Emcure Pharma IPO, while Link Intime India Private Ltd is the registrar for the issue.
Satish Ramanlal Mehta will be selling 17,30,000 shares and Namita Thapar will be offloading 14,08,600 shares through this IPO, among others.
Emcure Pharmaceuticals IPO Price Band
Emcure Pharma has fixed the price band for its IPO between Rs 960 to Rs 1008.
Retail investors can bid for a minimum of one lot, which consists of 14 shares, necessitating a minimum investment of Rs 14,112.

According to several websites monitoring the grey market premium (GMP), shares of Emcure Pharma's IPO are trading at a GMP of Rs 267 per share over the upper cap of its issue price. This represents a potential listing gain of 26.49 per cent.

Emcure Pharma's IPO will be open from July 3 to July 5 for public subscription. The allotment of shares is expected by July 8.
Refunds for unsuccessful bidders will be processed thereafter, and shares for successful bidders will be credited to their demat accounts by July 9. The company's shares will be listed on NSE and BSE on July 10.
